I would like to share with you this victory of
salvation in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
that we have had here at Alpha & êmega BBs. It is
this eternal testimony by our recently departed
brother in the LORD, Michael Egbers with whom we
fellowshiped often. On Friday, February 23, I
received this message from Daniel Bussey, a friend
of Michael Egbers;

you that on February 21,1996 a user [Michael n
Egbers] passed away. he died at Doctors Hospital
in Lanham Md. about 2:00 am from a blood clot that
was caused by an injury to his leg. The blood clot
lodged in his brain. The corners said it could
have been stoped if the doctors had paid more
atcion to him. The viewing is tonight 2-23-96 at
Fort Lincoin cemetery in Bladensburg Md. and the
funeral is to marrow 2-24-96 also at Fort Lincoin
cemetery at 12:00 pm. sorry the viewing is from
2-4 and 6-8 pm. As a result of this I will no
longer be on your bbs. Tank you for every thing

Michael Egbers left this testimony which now, as
then brings great peace to us at the time of his
going home to be with the LORD.

Yes,it does make a difference. Since my injury 3
weeks ago, I have been reading my Bible more. It
has made a difference. I have a lot of time on my
hands now and it gets lonely once in a while. This
lay up has given me some time to examine my life
and I have decided to make some changes because of
reading the Bible.
I have made a commitment to God to go to Church
at least every other Sunday, but will more than
likely be every week the way I feel now. A dear
friend of mine was over yesterday to visit. About
6 to 8 months ago he re-discovered Jesus. He came
over yesterday and we spent several hours reading
passages in the Bible and it really inspired me.
Now I can't wait to get back in church. About 20
years ago I started getting heavy into church
(I'm 35 now). I was an Altar Boy at Saint Peter's
Lutheran Church on Michigan Ave in N.E. Wash. I
stayed with it until 1982. Then, due to the fact I
did't have a car and couldn't afford one, I
couldn't go because my mother and sister stopped
going. Over the years, I slid back on everything
because I lost the Inspiration from the church.
Then Last Easter I managed to get a ride to All
Saint's Lutheran in Bowie. That set the idea in
motion. Then I finally got a car in November but
didn't get back because I had lost inspiration
again. But, due to this accident I had on the 22nd
of last month, it's given me time to reflect and
now I really want to commit my life to God and
Jesus. And I can't wait to get back into church
and rediscover the joys of the Lord for myself.
I ask that everybody pray for my speedy recovery
so I can return to the church I love so well and
to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and his
Glorious Father, God in Heaven.
